Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) – Abbas allegedly encroached upon government land here and constructed a house. After his father’s death, he buried the body there itself and built a tomb over it. A joint team of the Municipal Corporation and the administration, along with Mayor Vikas Sharma, Additional District Magistrate Pankaj Upadhyay and Municipal Commissioner Shipra Joshi-Pande, was inspecting the area.

During the inspection, local residents complained to them about the tomb. Following this, the administration immediately seized the structure. The Additional District Magistrate stated that the matter would be investigated and a case would be registered against the concerned person, while the Mayor said that the tomb would be demolished.
