Pakistan’s propaganda of Indian Army attacking Mamata Banerjee’s residence

New Delhi: Pakistan spread propaganda on social media that CRPF troops attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s house. These news are completely false and fabricated. Press Information Bureau and Kolkata Police have clarified that  there has been no incident of army entering Kolkata city or attacking the Chief Minister. This is all ill-propaganda spread as part of a deliberate conspiracy. “The police are taking strict legal action against those who spread such misleading information on social media. People should not believe in any such rumours,”  it appealed.

What was claimed ?

A social media account named ‘Anushi Tiwari’ claimed that ‘a large number of Indian troops are entering Kolkata, people have blocked the road of the army. At this time CRPF soldiers have attacked Mamata Banerjee’s house and she has been injured. The Union government has ordered the closure of foreign embassies.’

Pakistan’s conspiracy !

The Press Information Bureau has termed these claims as false and said that it is a propaganda run by the Pakistani agency. The police have clarified that the situation in the city is completely under control and an attempt is being made to disturb peace by wrongly uploading old and unrelated videos.
