Forced conversion, burqa and namaz recitation imposed !
Jalna, Maharashtra – A Hindu girl from Walsawangi village in Bhokardan taluka of the district has filed a complaint at the Police Station alleging that Sheikh Imran Sheikh Habib took obscene photographs of her and pressured her for religious conversion.
In this case, offences have been registered against 4 persons and 2, including the main accused, have been arrested. Sheikh first befriended the victim and gained her trust. Later, he allegedly took her to different places and captured obscene photographs of her. Threatening to circulate these photographs, the accused repeatedly sexually exploited her.
The accused and his family members allegedly pressured the girl to convert her religion. She was allegedly forced to offer namaz and asked to wear a burqa. Police officials stated that the girl was under severe mental stress due to these incidents.
