Chinese national arrested while trying to infiltrate India via Nepal

New Delhi – A Chinese national, Zhou Huan (age 41), who was trying to enter India via Nepal, was arrested by Border Security Force. He is a resident of Hunan province in China. Huan reached the Jogbani checkpoint from Biratnagar in Nepal on a two-wheeler with a Nepali number plate.

The soldiers were suspicious of his movements and stopped him. Initial investigation did not find any valid visa, passport or other documents required for entry into India. This led to the conclusion that he had tried to enter India illegally. Agencies are investigating how long Huan was in Nepal and what was his purpose to enter India. Security forces have been on high alert after this incident.

Know the shrewdness of Chinese infiltrators ! They are taking advantage of similar appearance of Chinese and Nepalis, to carry out anti-India activities. The government should take strict measures to prevent such incidents.
