Washington (USA) – After the shooting outside the White House during the ‘Correspondents’ Dinner’ last week, there has been another shooting incident in the White House area, wherein the convoy of US Vice President J.D. Vance narrowly escaped injury. President Donald Trump and Vance were present during the shooting incident last week.

Giving information about this case at a press conference, Matthew Quinn, Deputy Director of the US Secret Service, said, “This happened in the area of 15^th Street and Independence Avenue in Washington, D.C. The soldiers patrolling outside the White House complex saw a suspicious person with a gun. When the Secret Service officers tried to approach him for questioning, the person opened fire towards the officers. In response, the officers also opened fire. The person was injured in this. He was immediately taken to the hospital. A pedestrian was slightly injured in this shooting and was also taken to the hospital. Moments before this incident, the convoy of Vice President J.D. Vance had passed through the same area.”
