Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – A religious fanatic woman from Rashidpura area has been running an illegal abortion/sex detection centre for five years. The most shocking thing is she used to throw the foetus after abortion in a drain where stray dogs used to consume the foetus. The Police have arrested Shaheda Parveen Irshad Ahmad (age-51 years), Sayyad Irshad Ahmad Sayyad Ghani (age-61 years), Nasreen Nazir Sheikh (age-47 years) and Meenakshi Mangesh Thorat (age-35 years). Son studying in London funded by such evil money

The accused Shaheda Parveen used to work in a maternity hospital as a midwife. She observed the doctors and learnt the illegal technique. She was doing this for the last five years by frequently shifting to different houses in the city and presently, staying on rent in a bungalow of a retired judge. She has sent her son to study engineering in London on the money she earned in an illegal and evil way.

Activities exposed due to alertness of a citizen

An alert woman directly called up the Police Commissioner and gave details of the illegal activities. Later, the Police raided ‘Khamar Villa’ in Rashidpura in the night of 27.04.2026 and arrested the culprits. This gang’s network was spread even to the rural areas. A couple named Mangesh Thorat and Menakshi Thorat was running a pathology lab without any medical education. These fake doctors used to take a portable sonography machine (it is a modern equipment of diagnosis and works on sound waves to develop visual images of body organs) to the patients’ houses. Meenakshi used to diagnose the woman as pregnant and take her to the fanatic Shaheda in Rashidpura, where Shaheda used to charge Rs 15,000/- for the abortion claiming the foetus as of a female.
