This has been welcomed with great enthusiasm at the local level.

For families who were forced to flee the Kashmir Valley due to jihadi terrorism in the 1990s, this was an extremely emotional moment.

According to information shared on a Facebook page named ‘Kashmiri Hindu’, jihadi terrorists had taken control of the temple and ashram in 1990. They not only looted and set fire to the temple, but also completely destroyed all the structures there. Now, a foundation ceremony has been performed at this sacred site, and a grand temple and ashram will soon be constructed there.
