MAV Research Team shared that there has been an increasing need for Spirituality in medicine in the past 25-30 years. Hence, it led to the introduction of Spirituality based courses in medical schools in the US in the early 1990s which have increased in upto 90% of the medical schools since then, as per one survey.

As per the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda, however, it has long been believed that spiritual causes such as Karma (or destiny) are one of the main root causes of diseases along with an imbalance in Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Our ancient scriptures also mention the importance of increasing the Sattva component in oneself and decreasing the Raja-Tama components to lead a happy and healthy life.

Mr Sean Clarke

The Team shared that they conducted several researches using modern aura and energy Scanners along with the advanced sixth sense of the research team members. As per their findings, over 50% of problems in life are purely spiritual in nature. Destiny is the main cause and any major illnesses are also destined as per one’s karma. Negative energies can further trigger or aggravate medical problems or even hinder the correct diagnosis. In such cases, an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner can identify if negative energy is actively playing a role by identifying the ‘bhoot nadi’ of a patient and can help overcome it through spiritual means. The third spiritual factor behind any medical problem can be one’s departed ancestors. Such problems including Eczema, inability to have children or miscarriages, and addictions cannot be treated with conventional medicines alone. Spiritual remedies such as self-healing tools, regular spiritual practice as per the universal principles and leading a spiritually purer (sattvik) lifestyle are the key to increasing the Sattva component in oneself and gaining a holistic health.

The Team concluded that chanting the Name of God as per one’s religion, 15-minute salt water remedy, overcoming our personality defects and ingesting sattvik food such as a freshly cooked vegetarian meal can be used as potential self-healing tools against any spiritual problems including medical ones. Several case studies on various psychological and physical ailments including Eczema and addictions were shared where individuals overcame their problems in a short time by incorporating these spiritual remedies in their daily regimen. The aura and energy scanners further showed that any negativity in the auras of the patients reduced significantly and positivity increased after spiritual treatment.

Dr Korde and Dr Sneha Bhagwat (President, Goa Council of Ayurvedic and other Allied Indian System of Medicine) deeply appreciated the research and suggested more such lectures across Goa. They also expressed their wish to collaborate for research projects with MAV and work together under the Ministry of AYUSH, Goa.
