13 killed, 38 injured in bus bomb blast in Colombia !

Suspicion of involvement of the drug mafia

Bogotá (Colombia) – A terrorist attack targeted a bus in the south-western region of the South American country Colombia. In the bomb blast that occurred on 25 April, 13 passengers were killed and 38 were injured. The Army Chief described the incident as a ‘terrorist attack’. According to Associated Press, the explosion took place on the Pan-American Highway in the Cajibío area of Cauca province.

1.   Cauca Governor Octavio Guzmán stated that explosives had been planted on the road, and were detonated remotely when the bus passed over them.

2.   Commander of Colombia’s Armed Forces, Hugo López, held the criminal network led by Iván Mordisco and the ‘Jaime Martínez’ faction responsible for the attack.
