What is ambergris ?
Ambergris is a rare waxy substance produced in the intestines of sperm whales and is highly valued in the luxury perfume industry as a fixative. It is used in certain products and helps in preserving the fragrance of a perfume for a longer period. It is often referred to as ‘floating gold’.
