
Tehran (Iran) – Iran carried out an attack near the border with Pakistan, destroying a launchpad of the Pakistan-sponsored terrorist organisation Jaish al-Adl. According to Tehran-based news agency Tasnim News Agency, several terrorists were killed in the strike.
Jaish al-Adl is a Sunni militant organisation established in 2012. Over the past few years, it has been involved in terrorist activities along the Iran–Pakistan border. The group has carried out multiple attacks on Iranian security forces and has claimed responsibility for them. Iranian officials also stated that the same organisation had abducted retired Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav in 2016 and handed him over to Pakistan.
