Kolkata (Bengal) – Recently, a Dalit Hindu was brutally murdered in Bangladesh. The BJP condemned the incident and held protests; however, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee remained silent. She feared that if she spoke out, her Muslim vote bank would be displeased, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while criticising Mamata Banerjee at a rally held in Bankura during the West Bengal Assembly election campaign.
Yogi Adityanath further stated that such vote-bank politics-driven leaders are attempting to alter the demographic structure of Bengal. He added that the present time is crucial and that, keeping future generations in mind, people should not allow Congress, Left parties, and the Trinamool Congress to act arbitrarily. He also alleged that these parties create obstacles during festivals such as Durga Puja and Navratri in Bengal, and said that this will not be tolerated in the future.
