American Social Media Influencer Mocks Indian Names

(Social Media Influencer is a person who influences society through social media)

New York (US) – A video of Elijah Schaefer, a right-wing social media influencer from Texas, has gone viral on social media, in which he made fun of Indian names and made objectionable comments on cultural and religious aspects.

1. In the video, Schaefer is seen mocking the names of candidates contesting the local elections. He mocked names like Sai Krishna, Srikanth Reddy, Vijay Karthik and Babu Venkat by calling them ‘not American enough’.

2. He also said that  there were more Jew, Indian and Muslim candidates in the election and  fewer Christian candidates. With this he also questioned the existence of temples and mosques in the city.

3. The video sparked strong reactions on social media, with many calling it “racist” and “inflammatory”. People said that the Indian community is making a name for themselves through hard work and legal means by pursuing higher education in the United States, so such comments are false and objectionable.

Editorial Perspective

This shows the influencer's hatred for India and Hindus. After the 'Make America Great Again' movement in the United States, there has been an increase in attacks against Indians in the United States. The day the American people realise the fact that there is no alternative to Indians, if America has to become great again, will be the day of revelation !
