Congress Leader in Kerala Makes Shameful Appeal to Women Workers to Tear Their Blouses and Frame Opponents!

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Ahead of the state Assembly elections, a video of Idukki District Congress President C. P. Mathew has surfaced. In the video, Mathew is heard saying, “If the time for political struggle comes, women workers should tear their own blouses and file molestation complaints against opponents.” He made this shocking statement during an election gathering.

1. In the video, C.P. Mathew is seen stating that using women to legally weaken opponents is the most effective strategy. He suggested that women workers should tear their clothes and lodge complaints with the police, which would strengthen the case.

2. Mathew also reportedly said that women belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes should be included in such acts so that opposition leaders could be jailed under the provisions of the Atrocities Act.

3. After the video surfaced, Communist Party of India (Marxist) criticised the Congress. The party stated that this was not only a mockery of the law but also an insult to the dignity of Congress’s own women workers.

Leaders present on stage remained silent

At the time Mathew made the statement, several senior leaders, including Kerala Congress Vice President Jaison Joseph, were present on the stage. The video does not show any leader attempting to stop or oppose Mathew. (This reflects the misogynistic attitude of all Congress leaders! – Editor.)

Editorial Perspective

This incident exposes the misogynistic mindset of Congress leaders, who otherwise speak of gender equality and women’s empowerment. Under such leadership, the very safety and dignity of women are at risk !
