Action taken against professor who asked “Is there no one other than Allah ?” in Samrat Vikramaditya University question paper

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): In the case where the question “Is there no one other than Allah ?” appeared in B.Com, BCA, and BBA examinations, the professor responsible for preparing the question paper at Samrat Vikramaditya University has been relieved of all duties until the inquiry is completed. Additionally, the process of blacklisting the professor has been initiated.

1. The controversial question has now been removed from the paper, and all students will be awarded 1 mark in its place. Four options had been provided for the question: “Someshwar,” “Khuda,” “Shaktimaan,” and “Punisher.” The name of the professor has not yet been disclosed.

2. After the question paper circulated on social media, Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA from Tarana constituency Mahesh Parmar, Sant Shantiswaaroopanand Maharaj, and Hindu organizations objected and demanded action.

3. University Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma stated that disciplinary action was taken against the professor based on the examination committee’s report. The committee clarified that the controversial question was not part of the official syllabus and was added independently by the professor, violating rules.

4. Vice-Chancellor Arpan Bhardwaj said that action has been initiated against the professor who prepared the controversial paper. The question paper had been submitted to the examination committee as per procedure, and further action is underway based on the committee’s findings.
