Markets in Pakistan to shut after 8 p.m. ! : Government’s decision

Islamabad (Pakistan) – Due to the Gulf war, an energy crisis has emerged in Pakistan. As a result, a decision has been taken to shut markets, shopping malls, and shops across the country at 8 p.m. Medical stores have been exempted from this restriction.

These rules will be implemented in several regions including Punjab, Balochistan, Islamabad, and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. However, some major cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been granted relaxation until 9 p.m. Apart from commercial establishments, weddings, hotels, and restaurants have been allowed to operate only until 10 p.m.

Petrol at ₹458 and diesel at ₹520 per litre in Pakistan !

In the first week of April, petrol prices in Pakistan reached ₹458 per litre, while diesel rose to ₹520 per litre. Although the Government has now reduced petrol prices slightly to ₹348 per litre, these rates remain unaffordable for the common people.

To provide some relief, the Government has announced free public transport services for a month in certain areas.
