Action taken while he was all set to recruit youth to carry out terrorist activities in India

New Delhi – Indian security agencies recently arrested Shabbir Ahmad Lone, a terrorist linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, from Delhi border.

According to the information shared by the Police, he was all prepared to recruit youth from Delhi, Kolkata and Tamil Nadu for carrying out terrorist activities. This conspiracy was being hatched under the instructions of Pakistan’s Intelligence Bureau, ISI. It has been found in the initial investigations that Shabbir Lone was staying in Bangladesh and carrying out anti-India activities. ‘Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK)’, a security agency, had raided ten places in three districts viz. Ganderbal, Shopian, and Srinagar on 26.03.2026 to trace the members of terrorist Shabbir Ahmad Lone’s gang. Shabbir’s terrorist gang was getting instructions from Lashkar-e-Taiba’s masterminds operating from Bangladesh and Pakistan. The security agencies were keeping an eye on the activities of Shabbir since the last two months. Shabbir Lone was earlier arrested in 2007 by Delhi Police for terrorist activities. After getting bail in 2019, he ran away to Bangladesh. (It is a shame for security agencies. What were they doing till this terrorist could run away to Bangladesh ? – Editor)
