Parbhani, Maharashtra – A threatening email warning of RDX explosive attacks targeting passport and post offices across the state was received on March 25 in the afternoon. The email is reported to have been sent to multiple locations, including the main post office in Beed, passport and post offices in Nandurbar, offices in Nagpur, Hingoli, and several other places across the state.The message contained a serious warning that 16 bombs allegedly containing RDX mixed with cyanide would detonate at 12:10 PM. In response, immediate high-alert measures were implemented at all post offices across the state, including Parbhani. As a precaution, inspections of office premises were carried out at several locations, while in some places, citizens were advised to vacate the premises.The Parbhani administration promptly took cognizance of the matter and informed senior officials.

Preliminary verification of the email suggests that it may have originated from Tamil Nadu. The administration has made it clear that strict action will be taken against those responsible for issuing such false threats. Citizens have also been urged not to believe in rumours and to cooperate with the authorities.
