We fight court battles for innocent Hindus to bring the concept of ‘Rama-Rajya’ into a reality – adv Virendra Ichalkaranjikar

Adv Virendra Ichalkaranjikar addressing the programme

I congratulate this ‘Mandal’ for undertaking this drive continuously for the past twelve years. We fight legal battles for innocent Hindus as a part of the mission of establishing ‘Rama-Rajya’. It is our duty to do them justice. We have not still forgotten the attacks on lady Police staff at Azad Maidan. They should also get justice. I sincerely feel that the Police Administration should make efforts for this.

Other awardees

Mr Pandurang Balkawade was felicitated with the award for his work about the history of ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ and social work. Mr Sanjay Bhosale, ISKCON’s vice president and the director of ‘Annamrut Foundation’ has been serving the society through different media. He too was felicitated with the award.

Highlights

Devotional songs were sung in the procession as well as in the programme creating an atmosphere full of piety. ‘Shankhanad Pathak’ and ‘Dhol-tasha Pathak’ paid obeisance to Prabhu Shriram in a traditional way. The ‘Palakhi’ of Prabhu Shriram was carried by bare-footed devotees. The whole atmosphere had become ‘saffronised’. The whole area was resonating with the slogans hailing Prabhu Shriram and ‘Bharatmata ki Jai’, ‘Vande Mataram’, etc. The programmes concluded with ‘Maha-aarti’ of Prabhu Shriram by advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar
