Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) – A devout Hindu organisation ‘Dharmarakshak’ had organised a grand ‘Dharmasabha’ on 22.03.2026 on the occasion of Hindu New Year. After the conclusion of ‘Dharmasabha’, a procession, ‘Bhagava Shaurya Padayatra’ was taken out that was attended by hundreds of ‘Dharmarakshak’ with a lot of enthusiasm. The whole Bhopal city looked saffron on that day, as informed by Mr Vinod Yadav, the founder president of ‘Dharmarakshak’ and a leader of Hindu youth to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’. In her inspiring address as the main speaker, Sadhvi Saraswati appealed to Hindus to be always alert in the matters of Dharma, Culture and welfare of the Country. Deputy Chief Ministers Jagadish Devda and Rakesh Shukla were the special guests of the programme.

Thousands of young ‘Dharmarakshak’ attending ‘Dharmasabha’

A grand ‘Dharmasabha’ was organised on the ‘Chhola Dasara’ Ground in Bhopal. A huge dome-shaped marquee was erected at the venue of the ‘Sabha’. The local administration had denied permission for the procession on the previous day of the programme, giving the reason of issues related to traffic management; however, permission was granted in the morning on the day of the programme. The procession was taken out in a disciplined and peaceful manner.

All Hindus participating in the procession held saffron flags. Slogans of victory were raised during the procession that was taken through different routes in the city. It gave a message of social unity, cultural heritage and the values of Sanatan Dharma. The procession was huge but the whole programme was held in a disciplined and simple manner. It is worth to note that the use of DJ or instruments producing high decibel sounds was completely avoided.
