If you have so much love for Iran, then go there and support it

Warning issued by police officer Kuldeep Kumar of Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh) to Iran-supporting Muslims!

Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh) – While a war is ongoing between 2 countries, some people in India have unnecessarily become agitated. If anyone has such deep affection for another country, they should travel there by aeroplane and extend their support from there. Chaos and slogan-shouting in India over international issues will not be tolerated. Offering prayers outside mosques will not be permitted. Strict action will be taken against anyone found offering prayers on public roads.

This warning was recently issued by Sambhal’s Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Kuldeep Kumar, to local Muslims during a peace committee meeting held ahead of Eid and Friday prayers.

“This country does not belong to anyone’s father!” — MP Owaisi criticises

Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi criticised Kuldeep Kumar’s statement. Speaking at a public gathering, he said that this country does not belong to anyone’s father to decide where others should go. Should the nation function according to the Constitution or according to individual statements? (When former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh of the then Congress government stated that “Muslims have the first claim over the country’s resources,” why did Owaisi not criticise such a statement at that time? India was partitioned on religious grounds, with India for Hindus and Pakistan for Muslims. Therefore, if someone now argues that Muslims were given Pakistan and should go there, such a view is considered by some not entirely incorrect. — Editor)

Editorial Perspective

If dutiful and committed police officers like this exist, arrogant extremists and anti-India elements will certainly be restrained, and law and order will prevail in the country.
