Two kgs RDX seized in Ambala (Haryana)

Chandigarh – In a major operation in Ambala, Haryana, the Special Action Force police arrested 3 alleged youth under suspicion. About two kgs of suspected explosive material has been seized from them. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the explosive is likely to be RDX. Considering the seriousness of the case, the Police and intelligence agencies have started the investigations immediately. Ali Akbar, Ali and Jangbir have been arrested in this case. One of them is from Ajmer in Rajasthan, the other from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, and the third is from Kabanasa village in Haryana. All three of them are in the age group of 20-25 years.

1. The police had received a tip that three young men were going from Barada to Sadhaura on a motorcycle carrying explosives. Upon receiving the information, the Police blocked the Barara-Sadhaura Road at 4 pm on 13.03.2026.

2. Shortly as the suspects reached there on a motorcycle, the police surrounded them. On searching, Explosives were seized from them on conducting a search. The Police immediately took the trio  into custody and started interrogation.

3. From where such a large quantity of explosives was obtained and for what purpose was it going to be used are also being investigated.

4. Two kgs of RDX could have caused massive destruction. RDX is used for major terrorist attacks.

5. The police and intelligence agencies are jointly investigating the case. The cell phones used by the  suspects and their contacts and past history are being investigated. Officials say that many important revelations can be made through it in this case.
