Victim Hindu woman returns to Hindu Dharma with four children through initiative of devout Hindu organisations !

Hindu young woman converted and harassed for 10 years by a religious fanatic in Pimpri (Pune) !

After she courageously decided to return to her Dharma, she and her four children were ceremonially welcomed back into Hindu Dharma.

Pimpri Chinchwad (Dist Pune) – Taking the occasion of International Women’s Day, a victim Hindu young woman and her four children were ceremonially brought back into Hindu Dharma at Arya Samaj Mandir in Pimpri on March 8. The young woman, who had fallen victim to ‘Love Jihad’ and forced religious conversion, has returned to her Dharma after suffering ten years of severe harassment.

On this occasion, the woman earlier known as Sayali (Aliza after marriage) underwent a religious purification ritual and was renamed ‘Adya’. At the event, Adya and her children were presented gifts and conveyed best wishes for their future by the trustees of Jejuri Devasthan and devout Hindus.

What is the case ?

Sayali Surve from Pimpri-Chinchwad, who had undergone training in the air-hostess course, married Atif Tase, a businessman from Mira Road, in 2016 disregarding her family’s opposition. For the marriage, she was forcibly converted and renamed ‘Aliza’. Within a short period after the marriage, her harassment began.

During the past 10 years she gave birth to four children; however, throughout this period she had to endure severe physical and mental harassment from her husband’s family members.

Indifference of the Police and support from devout Hindu organisations !

The victim young woman tried several times to lodge a complaint with the Police; however, unfortunately, the Police did not register her complaint. Eventually, she came into contact with some devout Hindu organisations and was safely rescued.

After she courageously decided to return to her Dharma, she and her four children were ceremonially welcomed back into Hindu Dharma. (If a victim has to wait to come in contact with devout Hindu organisations to obtain justice, then for whom is the Police administration working ? Strict action must also be taken against such irresponsible Police officers. – Editor)

The ceremony was attended by BJP Rajya Sabha MP Professor Dr (Mrs) Medha Kulkarni, BJP MLA Mrs Umatai Khapare, Samasta Hindu Aghadi’s Mr Milind Ekbote, Bajrang Dal’s Mr Kunal Sathe, devout Hindu Mr Samir Kulkarni and many devout Hindus in large numbers.

The courage shown by Adya is commendable. Hindu girls need to be extremely cautious while choosing their life partners. The Government has assured that it will stand firmly with such women during times of crisis.

The respect and honour given to women in Hindu Dharma cannot be found anywhere else. Due to lack of awareness about the world, the emotional decision I made proved very costly for me. Earlier my thoughts were ‘secular’; however, after the suffering I endured over the last 10 years, I can now firmly say that our culture alone is superior. In the future, I will try to help such victimised girls, Adya said emotionally.

Editorial Perspective

Devout Hindu organisations are doing commendable work; however, unless girls are imparted education on Dharma in every Hindu household, it will be impossible to uproot the poisonous plant of ‘Love Jihad’. Today one young woman has returned; but Hindus must not forget that thousands of such young women are still suffering hellish torment.
