In a Love-Jihad like case a Christian youth beguiles a Brahmin girl in Uttar Pradesh

  • Posed as a member of the Thakur community; exploited her sexually

  • Brutally assaulted the pregnant girlfriend to convert to Christianity, leading to the death of her unborn child

Victimized young woman

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – A 22-year-old Brahmin woman from the district was allegedly trapped in a romantic relationship by a Christian youth. Concealing his identity, he falsely claimed to belong to the Thakur community and introduced himself as Abhishek Singh while befriending her. Later, under the guise of love and with promises of marriage, he sexually exploited her repeatedly.

When the woman began insisting on marriage, he revealed his Christian identity and started pressurising her to convert to Christianity as a precondition for the marriage. By that time, the victim had become pregnant.

According to the complaint filed with the Police, Abhishek and his family members subjected the victim to inhuman abuse. She was allegedly assaulted with kicks and blows to her abdomen, because of which the child in her womb died and she later delivered a stillborn baby. The victim has further alleged that not only Abhishek, but also his father and other relatives behaved indecently with her and made obscene advances.

Police initially ignored the victim’s complaints

The victim alleged that during the initial stage the Police ignored her complaints and, instead of taking firm action, merely attempted to force a compromise between the parties. Despite repeated approach to the Police, no action was taken, which allegedly emboldened Abhishek and the abuse continued.

Only after the matter escalated and began attracting wider attention did the Police register a case and arrest Abhishek.

Editorial Perspective

This is shameful for the Uttar Pradesh Police. Hindus believe that the Yogi Adityanath government should take the strictest possible action against the concerned Police Inspector.

Editorial Perspective

Such incidents suggest that not only some Muslims, but also certain Christians are allegedly luring Hindu girls into deceptive relationships with the intention of religious conversion—what may be described as a “Love Crusade.” If Hindus possessed stronger pride and awareness of their Dharma, non-Hindus would not dare attempt such conversions. The very fact that Hindus are being pressured or deceived into conversion is a matter of serious concern and introspection for Hindu society.
