India preparing for another war against Pakistan : Pak President

  • Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari’s claim in Parliament

  • Zardari urges India for talks

Islamabad (Pakistan) – India is preparing for another war against Pakistan. India should step back from the battlefield and come to the path of dialogue; because that is the only option for regional security, appealed Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari in the Pakistani parliament. Zardari tried to present Pakistan as a responsible nuclear-armed State. ‘With such power comes great responsibility; but Pakistan can defend itself if necessary’, he also clarified. (It is ridiculous that Pak President himself declares Pakistan a ‘responsible State’. The first citizen of Pakistan does not understand even this simple fact that other nations should say so. This shows the intellectual bankruptcy of this country – Editor).

Revoking the Indus water treaty is water terrorism

President Zardari strongly criticized India’s decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty. He called it ‘water terrorism’ and accused New Delhi of using the flow of water as a weapon for political gains. He said that he will continue to provide political and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that peace in South Asia is not possible unless the Kashmir issue is resolved.

(Editorial Perspective : Any act of India that teaches Pakistan a lesson will be considered as terrorism by Pakistan, as it was built on the ideology of ‘Jihadi terrorism’ and ‘hatred for Hindus’.)

Allegations against the Taliban, uproar in parliament

Speaking on the situation in Afghanistan, Zardari accused the Taliban administration of violating the Doha agreement. “Pakistan’s land is sacred and it will not be allowed to be destabilized,” he said. During his speech, MPs from Imran Khan’s party raised slogans demanding Khan’s release, causing chaos in the house.

Editorial Perspective

Four wars have been fought between India and Pakistan in the past; all were initiated by Pakistan. India has never attacked Pakistan in the past. Yet, Zardari is trying to portray Pakistan as a victim by making such allegations. He is urging India for talks because he knows that if India wages war against Pakistan, it will be wiped off the world map.
