Madhubani (Bihar) – The administration of Madhubani Medical College has issued an official circular bearing the principal’s signature and seal, warning that during the month of Ramzan, no male and female student should be seen together. If any two students are found standing together, the college administration will immediately solemnise their marriage. The responsibility of the post-marriage feast will also lie with the concerned couple.

After this order came to light, a wave of unrest has spread among the students of the institution.

Opposition on social media; administration maintains silence

As soon as the circular went viral on social media, many criticised it as an infringement upon personal freedom. Considering the seriousness of the matter, it is learnt that the District Administration has been informed. However, the college management has not yet clarified its stand on the controversy, and no official statement has been issued by the District Administration either.
