Sikri (Haryana) – An incident has come to light in which portraits of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maharani Padmini were allegedly used as directional signs outside the men’s and women’s washrooms at Milan Banquet Hall in Sikri. The matter surfaced after a video circulated on social media, leading to public outrage.
Following the backlash, the images were reportedly removed and replaced with other pictures. There is now a demand for action to be taken against the owner of the banquet hall.
Editorial PerspectiveWere only revered Hindu historical figures considered suitable to be displayed as restroom signs ? This appears to be a deliberate attempt to hurt Hindu sentiments. A case should be registered against those responsible, and they should face strict legal action. |
