Bijapur (Chhattisgarh) – A major encounter took place between security forces and Naxalites in Bijapur district. According to reports, 5 Naxalites were killed in the operation. In the forest area, Naxalites opened fire first on the security personnel. In response, the soldiers immediately took positions and retaliated. In the intense exchange of fire from both sides, 5 Naxalites were killed on the spot.
