Claim by world-renowned aviation expert and defence analyst Tom Cooper

New Delhi – During ‘Operation Sindoor’, India had targeted the nuclear facility located at Kirana Hills in Pakistan, claimed world-renowned aviation expert and defence analyst Tom Cooper in an interview given to an Indian news channel. According to him, he possesses multiple pieces of evidence in this regard.

1. Cooper stated that considering the timing and method of the strike, it was carried out to send a firm strategic message. If a clear warning is to be issued without causing greater destruction, such locations are targeted. Through this, the message conveyed was: “People of Pakistan, we can launch an intense strike on you whenever we want, wherever we want, and with whatever weapons we choose.”

2. Speaking about the evidence, Cooper said that he has several proofs. These include video footage in which missile smoke trails can be seen descending over the hills. He also drew attention to smoke rising from the radar station of the 4091st Squadron of the Pakistan Air Force.

3. Cooper said that the evidence is so clear that the Indian Air Force first attacked these radar stations to neutralise Pakistan’s response capability, and thereafter targeted at least two entrances of underground storage facilities.

4. According to Cooper, Kirana Hills is one of the key centres of Pakistan’s nuclear programme. Approximately 20 to 24 sub-critical nuclear tests have been conducted there. This is not some amusement park.

5. He expressed surprise at the denial that the Indian Air Force had attacked that location. According to him, when the strike is so evident, it is difficult to understand why it is being rejected. Denying this is like saying that the sun does not rise in the east. Who would believe such a claim ?
