Karnataka Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar walks on the national flag and Deity Ganesh’s rangoli with shoes on

BJP criticises

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – In a video circulating on social media, Karnataka Congress Government’s Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is seen walking on a rangoli with shoes on. He is seen moving forward looking at one rangoli after another. When the rangoli of the national flag came in front of him, he stood on it and then walked on the rangoli of Deity Ganesh and moved forward. In this incident, the national flag was not given proper respect and Deity Ganesh was also insulted. The BJP has criticised D.K. Shivakumar over this incident.

Congress hates Hindutva and the national flag

BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla posted the video and wrote that Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar has insulted the national flag and Deity Ganesh at a programme organized on the occasion of Republic Day. Insulting the army, the national flag, Sanatan and the Constitution is the identity of Congress. Congress hates Hindutva and the national flag.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Hindus and their organizations should make efforts to register a Police case against D.K. Shivakumar and to take action against him.
  • D.K. Shivakumar cannot even dream of committing such an insult towards Muslims. Although it is the policy of Congress to appease Muslims, Congress should contemplate what would happen if they made such a mistake.
