Mumbra (Thane) – AIMIM’s newly elected corporator Sahar Shaikh has once again made a provocative statement, saying, ‘India does not belong to anyone’s father; we are Indian Muslims’

After being elected, she made a statement ‘How well we defeated the opponent ! Now we want to paint the entire Mumbra green’. After a complaint was filed at the Police station, she was issued a notice. After that, she apologized. Subsequently, AIMIM’s Sambhajinagar leader and former MP Imtiaz Jaleel came to Mumbra and held a press conference, wherein he strongly supported Shaikh and made a provocative statement that, ‘We will paint not only Mumbra, but the entire Maharashtra green’.

• Hindus expect Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who had said ‘Thane district is saffron’, to take strict action against this Muslim corporator.
• Sahar Sheikh is making such statements only because of the support of former MP Imtiaz Jaleel and the ‘AIMIM’ party.
