Shiva Kachchi received a death threat

Islamabad – Human rights activist and founder of the organisation ‘Darawar Ittehad’, Shiva Kachhi, who has been fighting for the rights of minorities in Pakistan, has informed that he has been receiving death threats from the extremist organisation Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan. For the past few years, Shiva Kachhi has been raising his voice against the forced religious conversion of Hindu girls.

Shiva Kachhi shared this information on X. He stated that the Pakistan Government is ignoring this matter and therefore the international community should come forward to help them.

He further said, “Because I am working to stop the abduction and forced conversion of minor Hindu girls, I am being branded as anti-Islamic and anti-national. Fatwas are being issued calling for my murder. If anything happens to me or my family, the Pakistan Government will be fully responsible for it.”

Editorial Perspectives

  • Hindus in Pakistan are unsafe.
  • The fact that Shiva Kachhi feels the need to seek help from the international community instead of India itself shows that he has no confidence that India will do anything for him. This is shameful for Hindus.
