Trump’s Strong-Arm Tactics Cross the Line; Global Silence Highlights the Fear Surrounding the United States

Washington (USA) — US President Donald Trump has declared himself the “Acting President” of Venezuela, claiming that he has assumed the position from January 2026 onwards. However, no official statement confirming this declaration has been issued by the White House or the US administration.

“The United States Will Run Venezuela”

Trump has stated that the United States will administer Venezuela until a “safe transfer of power” takes place. He said the US does not want any individual to come to power who would fail to safeguard the interests of the Venezuelan people.

According to Trump, the revenue generated from the sale of Venezuelan oil will remain under his control in his capacity as US President, so that it can be utilised for the benefit of the people of both Venezuela and the United States.
