Dantewada (Chhattisgarh) – Due to the ongoing operation against Naxals in Dantewada district, 63 Naxals have surrendered, including 18 women Naxals. This incident could prove to be a significant milestone in the state’s anti-Naxal struggle.

Surrender of key Naxal leaders

Among those who surrendered is Mohan Kadti, the secretary of the West Bastar Divisional Committee, who surrendered along with his wife. A reward of over one crore rupees had been announced for him. This large-scale surrender has dealt a major blow to the Naxal movement.
