Research conducted by Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay

To commemorate the 83rd birth Anniversary of Sanatan Sanstha’s Founder, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale, and the organization’s silver jubilee year, the ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ was organized from May 17th to 19th, 2025, at the ‘Infinity’ grounds in Farmagudi, Goa. The festival occupied 22 acres of the grounds. To study the spiritual impact of the ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ on the surrounding environment, some research tests were conducted by the ‘Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalaya’. A pendulum was used for these tests. A pendulum can be used to measure the positive and negative energy in objects, structures, and individuals. This research is presented below.
1. Components from the study
To study the effects of ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ from May 8 to May 20, 2025 on the environment photographs of the venue were taken everyday.
1 A. Samples of soil, water and air : To study the effects of the Celebrations on the environment, samples of soil, water and air were collected and their photographs were taken. (The air sample was collected by moving a cotton ball in the air and photograph of the cotton ball was taken)

1 B. Ground on all four sides of the stage : From May 17 to 19, 2025 during every morning and afternoon session a number of programmes were organised. As more than 25,000 people were expected to attend the programme a huge stage was erected. In front and on both sides of the stage there was extensive seating arrangement. To study the effects of the ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ on the environment the ground on all four sides of the stage was photographed.
1 C. Different spots in the vicinity of the Celebrations : The ground on which the Celebrations were to be held was vast, covering 22 acres of land. To study the effect on different spots at the venue, photographs of the main entrance to the venue, the flag hoisting area and the area outside the fence of the venue, were taken.
1 D. Trees in the vicinity of the Celebrations : There was a Banyan tree at the venue of the Celebrations, so also a Eucalyptus tree at some distance from the venue. To study the effect of the Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav on the trees in the vicinity of the venue from the spiritual perspective, photographs of both these trees were taken.

1 E. Temporarily erected rooms for Saints in the vicinity of the Celebrations : A temporary room was erected at the venue of the Celebrations for Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale and also one for both His spiritual successors Shrisatshakti (Mrs.) Binda Nilesh Singbal and Shrichitshakti (Mrs.) Anjali Mukul Gadgil. Dust particles from both these rooms were collected and their photographs were taken. (The dust particles were collected by moving a cotton ball on the floor of the room.)
Pendulum readings of all these photographs were taken.
2. Analysis of observations in the study
2 A. Positive impact of ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ on the environment : On May 8 and 9, 2025 negative energy was perceived in small amounts in the sample of air, the Eucalyptus tree and the ground on all four sides of the stage at the venue. However, on May 10, 2025 this negative energy was nullified. Along with this, positive energy in all these components grew progressively from May, 20, 2025. All this is tabulated further.

2 A 1. Progressive increase in positive energy in all components in the study from May 8 to 19 May, 2025 : Nine days prior to the Mahotsav (that is on 8.5.2025) the positive energy in the soil, water, air, ground on all 4 sides of the stage and different spots at the venue and in the two trees was approximately 3.5 to 20 metres. In the following 8 days the positive energy in all these components increased progressively.
What is remarkable is that a day prior to the Celebrations (16.5.2025) the positive energy in these components was around 200-570 metres.
2 A 2. What is even more remarkable is that during the Celebrations (from 17.5.2025 to 19.05.2025) positive energy in all the components in the study increased to a great extent, upto a thousand metres.
2 A 3. Positivity was the highest in the dust particles in the room of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale.
2 A 4. The day after the Celebrations (that is 20.5.2025) positive energy in all the components was still present.

2 A 5. A progressive rise in positive energy in soil, water and air samples : Pruthvi (Absolute Earth), Apa (Absolute Water), Tej (Absolute Fire), Vayu (Absolute Air), Akash (Absolute Ether) are the five Cosmic Principles. Soil is associated with the Pruthvi Principle, water with the Apa Principle and air with the Vayu Principle. As Pruthvi, Apa and Vayu are serially of higher level the corresponding changes were noted in the samples of soil, water and air.
2 A 6. Positive energy present on four sides of the stage in varying amounts : The area in front of the stage was in the east. The east and north are directions of origin while the west and south are those of dissolution. The Sattva component is basically higher in the directions of origin. Hence though the positivity was high on all four sides of the stage it was varying, it being highest in front of the stage, the eastern direction followed by the north, west and south. (Ideally the stage should be facing the east.)
2 A 7. Positive energy was higher in the Banyan tree than in the Eucalyptus tree : The Eucalyptus tree has medicinal properties. As per Scriptures the Trinity of Deities resides in the Banyan tree because of which it is worshipped. Though both trees are Sattvik the Banyan tree has a greater potential to both, imbibe and emit Divine Consciousness from Deities, that is precisely why the positive energy in it was higher.

2 B Conclusions : As the day of the Celebrations started approaching, the positive energy in all components in the study started increasing progressively. That is why till the eve of the Celebrations 200-570 metres of positive energy was found in them. After the Celebrations started till they culminated the positive energy in all the components in the study was increasing progressively and increased upto a thousand metres. This shows how from the spiritual perspective the ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ had positive effects on the environment to a great extent.
3. Spiritual analysis of the observations from the study
3 A. As the day of Celebrations approached the Divine Consciousness (Chaitanya) at the venue kept increasing : Hundreds of seekers from all over the country had come to the venue for preparations and were performing varied sevas without having body awareness (forgetting themselves). They were guided from time to time by Sanatan Saints and Sadgurus who were supervising the preparations at the venue. The Divine Consciousness at the venue increased progressively as the day of the Celebrations approached. Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev and His spiritual successors Shrisatshakti Mrs.Binda Singbal and Shrichitshakti Mrs.Anjali Gadgil would supervise the venue and suggest the necessary changes. The Divine presence of Saints, their invaluable guidance, the service attitude of seekers and blessings of Deities for the event, all contributed towards this growing Divine Consciousness at the venue.
3 B. Reasons for tremendous positive impact of the ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav’ on that environment : The Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav, a huge unique Divine event which was organised by Sanatan Sanstha as advised by Maharshi from May 17 to 19,2025. Seekers from within the country and abroad, Saints, Sadgurus, protagonists of Dharma, and honoured guests attended the event. This was a sort of an event which projected the Divinity of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr. Athavale to the world and glorified Him. Deities, Sages, Divine souls from higher regions etc attended the event in the subtle dimension. During the Celebrations Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev was emitting Divine Consciousness in great amounts. That is why the vicinity of the Celebrations was charged with Divine Consciousness and it reflected even on the environment.
3 C. Reason for highest positivity in the dust in the room of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale : Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev is endowed with the highest spiritual state and hence His baseline Divine Consciousness is high. During the event the Divine Consciousness in Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev was highly activated. As that Divine Consciousness had an effect on His room as well, that too was charged with Divine Consciousness and consequently the dust particles in that room showed highest positivity.
In short the spiritual importance of Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsav came to the forefront through this research. We offer gratitude a million times at the Holy feet of Sachchidananda Parabrahman Gurudev for granting us this invaluable opportunity to render service.
