Hindu community must unite to curb Islamic terrorism: HH Ramgiri Maharaj

Protest in Shirdi against atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh

Shirdi (Maharashtra) – ‘Today, poor and minority Hindus in Bangladesh are facing atrocities. Radical jihadis brutally tortured and killed a Hindu named Dipu Das. At the time of Partition, what was the population of Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan, and what is it today? In contrast, the Muslim population in India was small at the time of Partition but has increased significantly—why did this happen? The entire world is disturbed today due to extremism. Countries like England, the United States, and France are confronting Islamic terrorism. Therefore, in the times ahead, Hindu community must unite to curb Islamic terrorism’, HH Ramgiri Maharaj urged while addressing a protest meeting held in Shirdi against the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh.

1. Muslims in India protest when atrocities occur against Muslims in Gaza and Palestine; then why is there silence when Hindus are persecuted in Bangladesh?

2. Whether it is Ganeshotsav or Navratri, in many places stones are pelted at celebrations by religious fanatics. Wherever the number of fanatics has increased, problems have inevitably arisen. Muslims often claim that they are being defamed; if so, why do true nationalist Muslims not come forward to openly oppose and condemn terrorist Muslims?

3. Some religious fanatics in India have married off their daughters to Bangladeshis and Rohingyas. The Government of India should identify all such Bangladeshis and Rohingyas living across the country and expel them. The government should verify and monitor what is being taught in madarasas. Madarasas must be examined whether they are brainwashing young minds and instilling radicalism, and appropriate action should be taken.

4. Sanatan Dharma teaches, “Do not commit injustice,” but it also teaches that injustice should not be tolerated. However, in school education we were wrongly taught, “If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek.”

Judges should be selected after examining their background from childhood: HH Ramgiri Maharaj

To ensure that the Taj Mahal does not lose its sheen, it is restored using Multani clay. The government preserves Aurangzeb’s tomb in Sambhajinagar and allocates funds for it. On the other hand, when an idol of Lord Vishnu in a temple in Tamil Nadu was damaged and a petition was filed seeking repairs, instead of addressing the issue, a judge reportedly said, “Tell your Vishnu.”

When advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain approaches the Supreme Court against the Waqf Act, he is first told to go to the High Court. On the other hand, when religious fanatics seek justice in the Supreme Court in any matter, their hearings are taken up immediately. Why is there one standard of justice for religious fanatics and another for Hindus? Today, corruption exists in the justice system and the Constitution is being undermined. Therefore, while appointing judges, their background should be thoroughly examined before selection.
