Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma voices concern

Guwahati (Assam) – Speaking at a BJP meeting here, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the Muslim population in Assam, largely due to migration from Bangladesh, has been increasing significantly, and this situation could pose a threat to the very existence of the State. He warned that if this population exceeds 50%, efforts could begin to merge Assam with Bangladesh.
🚨 Demographic Warning from Assam CM 🚨
“If the Muslim population in Assam reaches 50%, there will be attempts to merge it with Bangladesh,” warns Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Criticising the Congress, Sarma said that decades of appeasement politics have led to the emergence of a new demographic structure in Assam. According to the 2011 Census, Muslims constituted 34% of Assam’s population, and of these, 31% were recorded as being of Bangladeshi origin.
In 2011, minorities made up 31% of Assam’s population, with many being those who came from Bangladesh.
By 2027, this is number expected to rise to around 40%, raising serious concerns about the changing demographic landscape of our state. pic.twitter.com/EkIvItRS13

Editorial PerspectiveIf such a demographic situation were to arise not only in Assam but in every State, there would be attempts to turn the whole of India into an Islamic country. If Hindus remain passive, this would not be difficult to achieve. |
