In Uttar Pradesh, a Muslim doctor lured a Hindu lady doctor into a romantic trap, pressuring her to convert to Islam.

The resident doctor is accused of running a conversion racket.

Lakshmanpuri (Uttar Pradesh) – An incident of a new case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light here in the city’s ‘K.G.M.U.’ (King George Medical University). A Muslim Resident Doctor from this University, Rameez Malik, hid the fact that he was already married and lured a Hindu resident doctor into a romantic trap. Then he began pressuring her to convert. When the lady doctor opposed this, he began to harass her. It has come to light that the lady doctor attempted suicide due to this mental trauma. On hearing about this incident, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad members began an agitation in the premises of ‘K.G.M.U’. The VHP members gave a petition to Dr Sonia Nityanand the Vice- Chancellor of ‘K.G.M.U.’ The VHP Sanghatan Mantri Amarendra Pratap Singh said, incidents of conversion and ‘love jihad’ are continuously happening in ‘K.G.M.U.’ (This illustrates that in India it is not the minority Muslim community, but the Majority Hindu community that is unsafe – Editor)

• When the lady Doctor found out that the accused doctor was already married, she refused to convert and marry him. Subsequently she was pressurised.

• The lady doctor and the Deputy Chair Person of the State Women’s Commission, Aparna Yadav called a press meet in which the lady doctor stated “the accused doctor had been exploiting me” for the past 6 months. The victimized doctor alleged that the accused resident doctor was converting people through a conversion racquet in the premises. (If this is indeed the case, then it is necessary that there should be a through inquiry into the matter – Editor)

• Amarendra Pratap Singh said, Rameez Malik had duped a Hindu girl earlier and now he has trapped another Hindu girl. (Since appropriate action and punishment is not given at the very first instance, these people dare to do these things repeatedly – Editor)

• Amarendra Singh said that they would take strict action against people who are duping and bringing disrepute to the Hindu girls. He demanded that Rameez Malik be rusticated from ‘K.G.M.U.’

• Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said a high-level inquiry has been ordered. So also, the Vice Chancellor has been instructed to submit a detailed report on the matter.

That even highly educated Muslims too, are a part of some Jihadi action or the other is seen in majority of cases. It is necessary that harsh measures are used against them so that this serves as a deterrent.
