Over 200 case properties missing – 2 constables suspended

Shocking incident at a police station in Dhule district !

Nizampur (Dhule district) – A verification of case properties pending for several years at the local police station has revealed that case materials from more than 200 registered offences have gone missing. Following this discovery, constables Mahendra Jadhav and Sharad Thakre have been suspended as part of strict disciplinary action.

The two personnel had been repeatedly instructed to submit the case property. They were given sufficient time for inquiry and were also given opportunities to provide explanations; however, they failed to deposit the missing items. The vanished case property includes valuable items as well as crucial evidence required for judicial proceedings.
