Delhi blast terrorist revealed to have met Syrian militant in Turkey !

New Delhi – It has now been revealed that Dr. Umar, the suicide bomber behind the Delhi blast, had met a Syrian terrorist in Turkey in 2022. Along with him, Dr. Muzammil Shakil Ganai and Dr. Muzaffar Rayder — both of whom have also been arrested — were present at the meeting. The trio met the Syrian militant under instructions from their Pakistani handler Ukasha, and remained in constant contact with him.

Dr. Umar, Dr. Muzaffar, and Dr. Muzammil stayed in Turkey for nearly 20 days. They had travelled there to meet Ukasha, who is believed to be operating from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Later, Muzaffar fled to Afghanistan via the UAE and directly joined Al-Qaeda. Dr. Umar, however, was sent back to India from Turkey instead of being routed to Afghanistan — reportedly to carry out an attack in India under the directions of Jaish-e-Mohammed.

To avoid suspicion, Dr Umar took a job at Al-Falah University

As part of the plan — to not attract attention, continue plotting, and recruit more individuals — Dr. Umar took up a job at Al-Falah University.

Handler had sent 42 bomb-making videos

Investigation has revealed that Ukasha sent 42 instructional videos to Dr. Umar on how to assemble explosives. Communication took place under multiple aliases including “Hanzullah,” “Nisar,” and “Ukasha.”

Efforts underway to identify Ukasha

Security agencies are currently working to ascertain Ukasha’s identity. Another handler has also been identified, known by aliases “Colonel,” “Laptop Bhai,” or simply “Bhai.” His real name is believed to be Mohammad Shahid Faizal. He reportedly coordinated operations related to planned bombings in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Faizal is an engineering graduate who went missing in 2012 at the age of 28. His name had surfaced earlier in connection with a Lashkar-e-Taiba plot to carry out a terror attack in Bengaluru, involving several young engineers and doctors. Police believe he escaped to Pakistan and has since been active in terror coordination.
