Squad investigating possible links of the Delhi blast to Maharashtra !

Pune – Following the bomb blast in Delhi, Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has stepped up vigilance and carried out a raid in the Kondhwa area on 11 November. Two suspects have been detained during the operation. Their identities have been kept confidential, and interrogation is underway. Senior police officials said that the ATS is probing whether there are any links between the Delhi blast and the large caches of explosives recently recovered in Jammu & Kashmir and Faridabad.
The squad conducted another raid in Kondhwa to gather information related to Zuber Hangargekar, a software engineer from Pune who was earlier arrested for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to carry out bomb blasts across various cities in India. Hangargekar was recently apprehended from the same area by the ATS. He is suspected of having links with the Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda. However, officials have clarified that he has no direct connection with the Delhi bomb blast.
