“Not seven, but eight planes were shot down in the India-Pakistan war”: Donald Trump’s new claim

President of the United States, Donald Trump

Washington (US) – “I was in the middle of discussions for a trade deal with India and Pakistan when I suddenly read in the newspaper that both countries were at war. I heard that seven planes had been shot down and an eighth was damaged — meaning a total of eight aircraft were downed,” claimed former US President Donald Trump in a recent statement.

Reiterating his earlier remarks, Trump added that both nations are nuclear powers and stated, “I made it very clear that until peace is restored between the two countries, there will be no trade agreement.”
