
Mumbai – Mumbai Crime Branch conducted raids on a ‘hookah’ parlour illegally providing nicotine flavours. Police raided a storehouse in the Umerkhadi area and seized a huge stock worth more than 3 crores. Police took action on receiving the information about the clandestine sale of hookah flavours in a few parlours in Mumbai.
In this raid, 1831 boxes of narcotics were seized. Sachin Sushilkumar Suri (Age 49) has been taken into custody in this connection. There was no warning written on any of the boxes as required under the law. A case has been filed with the Dongri Police Station in this context.
