Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – On the night of 25 October, unidentified individuals broke into a Shiva temple in Gauri Lakkha village of Kanpur district and vandalised the Idols of Bhagwan Shankar, Nandi, and other Deities. The incident came to light the next morning, sparking outrage across the village. The villagers strongly condemned the act and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits. Considering the gravity of the incident, Police Inspector Ashish Kumar Chaubey pacified the villagers and assured them that new Idols would soon be installed in the temple.
