Taxila, the world’s first university, was India’s gift to humanity !

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) – Sanskrit is the language of divine knowledge, and in the future, it will become the language that connects the entire world, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He added that Sanskrit not only fosters closeness between different cultures but also shows the path toward the welfare of the world.
He was speaking at the 14thconvocation ceremony of the sewing, embroidery, and computer training center organized by Annapurna Trust in Varanasi. During the event, the Chief Minister distributed 250 sewing machines and laptops to boys and girls.
The Chief Minister further said that the world’s first university, Takshashila, was India’s gift to humanity — an institution that produced great scholars like Panini. Sage Valmiki composed the world’s first epic in Sanskrit.
To promote Sanskrit, the government is continuously working not only to provide scholarships but also to encourage advanced-level research. (It is also expected that policymakers should include Sanskrit in the school curriculum and ensure the availability of trained teachers to teach it! – Editor)
Through initiatives in healthcare, education, and skill development, the government is empowering women to become self-reliant and is making continuous efforts to improve their quality of life.
