“Pakistan has won the conflict with India and now seeks peace” : Pakistan PM Shehbaz day dreams

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif’s claim at the United Nations

New York (USA) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared at the United Nations that “Pakistan has emerged victorious in its conflict with India and now desires peace.” Calling India a “hostile neighbour,” Sharif claimed that Pakistan had asked for an “impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam attack,” but India rejected the proposal and sought political gain instead. “Last year, from this very UN platform, we warned that Pakistan would not tolerate any external aggression. That warning proved true. This May, India attacked us without any provocation,” Sharif alleged.

“Trump’s intervention prevented a wider war” – Sharif

Sharif further claimed that former U.S. President Donald Trump’s intervention prevented a full-scale regional war. “Had it not been for President Trump’s mediation, South Asia would have faced a devastating conflict,” he said, adding that Pakistan has nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his “peace efforts.”

Willing to talk with India

The Pakistani Prime Minister said his country is “ready to discuss all contentious issues with India.”

“South Asia needs leaders of wisdom, not those who provoke conflict,” Sharif stated.

India violated the Indus Waters Treaty

Sharif accused India of unilaterally suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it “not only a breach of the agreement but also of international law.” “Pakistan will protect the water rights of its 240 million citizens. Any violation of the Indus Waters Treaty will be considered an act of war,” he warned.

Dreaming of a Kashmir plebiscite

On Kashmir, Sharif said, “I am confident that one day there will be a free and impartial plebiscite in accordance with UN resolutions, and the people of Kashmir will decide their own future.” (Daydreams of an impossible fantasy – Editor)

Editorial Perspectives

  • This is the very definition of “Lie boldly, lie repeatedly.” Could there be a nation and a leader more shameless than this ?
  • A country born out of the massacre of a million Hindus and long known as a factory for terrorists can hardly expect to live in peace.
  • Pakistan should realize that its very existence now stands on shaky ground.
