Ottawa (Canada) – Khalistani terrorist organisation ‘Sikhs for Justice’ has threatened to take control of the Indian Consulate in Vancouver, Canada. The organisation warned that Indian citizens should not enter the area. So far, the Indian as well as Canadian Government have not issued any official comment on this.
1. According to an English Indian Daily, Khalistani activists have announced to lay siege to the Indian Consulate here on September 18.
2. One of the organisation’s posters shows the face of the new Indian High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh Patnaik, with a gun symbol on it.
3. The organisation has said that 2 years ago, on 18 September 2023, the then Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had said in the Canadian Parliament that an investigation into the involvement of the Indian Government in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar was underway.
4. ‘Sikhs for Justice’ has alleged that the Indian Consulate is spying on Khalistan referendum campaigners, which could hinder their work.
