Washington (USA) – We have no intention of bringing India and Pakistan together, nor are we planning to mediate on the Kashmir issue. This is our long-term strategy. Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. But if anyone needs help from us, we are ready to help. Trump has many other issues in front of him right now. Therefore, India and Pakistan will resolve the Kashmir issue together, said a senior US official. The official confirmed the reports that India and the United States are holding positive talks related to the purchase of energy from Russia.
India and the US are at loggerheads over the 50 per cent import duty imposed by the US on India and the hike in H-1B visas. It is said that efforts are being made to restore relations between the two countries. A US official said, “Modi and Trump will meet soon. There is a good relationship between the two. We are currently working on organising the Quad Summit. The Summit will be held in New Delhi later this year or early next year. India-US relations are getting back to normal. We will soon see positive developments.”

Editorial PerspectiveWho will trust the US that goes back on its words every minute ? It is clear that this is a falsehood created by the United States to please India so that it buys oil again from the United States. |
