There should be no dirty politics during festive season; Constitution is secular : CM Siddaramaiah

  • After anti-Hindu writer Banu Mushtaq inaugurated Dasara festival at Mysuru

  • Also claims distortion of history for selfish interests

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah honoring the anti-Hindu writer Banu Mushtaq at the Dasara festival.

Mysuru (Karnataka) – Those, who have no knowledge about Dasara and our cultural heritage, have opposed Banu Mushtaq. Distorting history for their own selfish interests is an unpardonable crime. Politics should enter only in elections. Stooping to a low level in politics during festive season is a minor thing, stated State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after anti-Hindu writer Banu Mushtaq inaugurated the Dasara festival here.

CM Siddaramaiah said further  –

1. The majority community in the State has welcomed Banu Mushtaq inaugurating Dasara festival which is a matter of pride. (Editorial Perspective : Not only the majority community but Muslims have also openly opposed it by saying it as ‘Haram (against Islam)’; still Siddaramaiah is not accepting the facts. Whom is he trying to appease ?)

2. More than a Muslim, Banu Mushtaq is a person who follows the principles of humanity.

3.True Indians are those who follow the principles of tolerance as mentioned in the Constitution. (Editorial Perspective : Everyone knows who are tolerant people in India). Our Constitution is secular.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Who distorted history ? Who is glorifying Tipu Sultan even when there is evidence of his mass killing of Hindus ? In fact, Congress has changed history many times and hidden the true history of oppression of Hindus and the valour shown by Hindus.
  • Why are you conducting a census based on castes when the Constitution is secular ? Everyone knows that it is a ploy to associate non-Hindus with Hindu festivals for own selfish needs.
