Bhagyanagar (Telangana) – Maharashtra Police raided an illegal drug factory here. Drugs worth ₹12,000 crore were seized. Then, 12 persons were arrested on the spot.

The police seized 5.968 kg of a drug called ‘Methylenedioxy-Methamphetamine In’. Along with this, they confiscated 32 thousand litres of raw material used in manufacturing drugs. The police suspect a conspiracy by an international gang behind the factory.

The Mira-Bhayander and Vasai-Virar police in Maharashtra conducted this raid. They took that action after receiving information during the interrogation of the accused arrested in the drug case in Maharashtra.

Editorial Perspective

How do they find drugs in such large quantity ? Their manufacturing factory poses a big challenge to law and order. The drug business provides money to Naxal and Jihadi terrorism. Keeping in mind the seriousness of this menace, just as they took the goal of a Naxal-free India, people expect efforts to eradicate drugs too.
